Joanna Lowther – Trade Mark Attorney

Joanna is a Chartered Trade Mark Attorney with over ten years post-qualification experience. She has been called to the English Bar and has a first-class honours degree from Imperial College London.

She has advised a wide range of clients including global brand owners, government departments, charities, SMEs and start-ups, and has acted for clients across a numerous business sectors such as the technology, media, financial and retail sectors.

She has considerable experience of carrying out trade mark clearance searching, filing and prosecuting UK, EU, international and overseas trade mark applications, handling contentious trade mark proceedings, advising on infringement issues, handling complex assignment programmes and providing strategic advice regarding portfolio management.

Joanna’s Team

David joined Nucleus IP in 1981, having started work at the BBC. In the intervening years he has worked on the portfolios of a number of major clients and passed the CITMA formalities exam in 2008.

David’s hobbies include music, travel, cricket and football, in particular Watford FC!

Before joining Nucleus IP Sue worked at The Co-operative Bank Plc for three years.

Sue works with Jennifer Hitchcock, Kate Cheney's teams providing technical assistance.

Joined Nucleus IP in 2001.

Before joining Nucleus IP Deborah worked in the surveying industry.

Deborah is part of Jennifer Hitchcock's team.

In addition to her secretarial duties to Deborah makes good use of her organisational skills, keeping evidence packs up to date for major clients. This negates the need to revert to clients each time evidence is required for a contentious matter.

Joined Nucleus IP in 2015.

Jamie provides clerical assistance to Andrew Murch and Ese Akpogheneta, as well as handling most of the day-to-day admin tasks in the office. In addition, Jamie provides IT Support.
